FB3

Here is some more stuff I posted on FB and want to share it with you. I really enjoy teaching and sharing to help people.

ECM

It has been a very long time, a few billion years, since the mid 70s but I will try to remember everything I can. For fun, I want to share a few of the important things we knew about fighting SAMs during Nam. They don't use the three SAM systems 2, 3, and 6 we fought but a lot of it is still the same. It is still the same physics.

I will teach you what the EWOs, especially Weasels, had to know to fight them.

The SAM2 was just a basic SAM missile where they got the missile to lock on and fired it (a "fire and forget" system because they didn't have a remote control system).

All you had to do to beat that baby was decoy the missile away from the plane with something like chaff or electronically jam its radar guidance system in the missile or perform a quick move the SAM couldn't follow.

When that began not working well because of our ECM by the mid to late 60s, the superior commie Ruskies came out with the more advanced SAM3. Its effective radar and missile range was 25 miles and it had a remote guidance system used by the radar technician, you know, similar to what they use to fly drones today.

If you were flying along and saw a SAM3 radar on your scope, you could tell when it saw you and started scanning you because they would decrease the radar sweep to being a much smaller area (the sweep frequency increased) and increase the power of the beam to get more details causing an increase in the power of the bean on your scope we called a "step up". You were now in a fight with the SAM3.

From the time a Wild Weasel engaged a SAM3, their average life expectancy was just 10 seconds so they kind of got in a hurry to beat it before that 10 seconds was up. It was a very short fast fight and one of you probably died.

Hey, it beat the crap out of that punk MMA stuff.

The way the Weasel EWO or Bear knew the missile was launched (other than seeing a super sonic white telephone pole coming at your butt) was that the missile had a remote control signal the radar technician used to control the direction of the missile to increase its chances of hitting you. After the missile was fired, this signal was activated and modulated into the radar beam, which caused another "step up" in the signal power and you knew your butt was being shot at. You only had seconds to do the right thing.

One way the Weasels beat this was to turn towards the 3 signal, you know, playing chicken with it, while working to get their radar seeking missile (today called a HARM missile - not back then; we just called it a radar seeking missile) to lock onto their radar. Then he would wait for the step up to tell him the radar operator was focused on guiding the missile towards his airplane, fire his missile at the radar site, and then do "an S curve" to throw off the missile because the SAM missile couldn't make that many changes in direction fast enough to stay with the plane, even with remote control. It was a very big, long projectile that wasn't as nimble as a fighter plane and it was traveling too fast.

Another tactic they used was for one Weasel (they fought in pairs) to dive towards the SAM to get its attention, while the other Weasel attacked the SAM from the opposite direction, locked its missile on target, and fired its missile while his buddy danced with that big, white super sonic telephone pole.

BTW, the SAM3 missile had a "vicinity detonation device" so that, if it got within 100 ft of your butt, it exploded and sent shrapnel into your plane. Not good.

The first radar seeking missiles didn't have position lock so that, if the SAM radar operator turned off his radar, it would usually cause the missile to go wide of the target and miss.

Not good because then he could fire another missile at you.

We countered that by putting a position locking device in the missile so that, if the radar was turned off, it still hit the 15 by 18 ft control trailer. Not a very big target.

By the time I started working the Weasels, they had gotten so good that, when the SAM operators realized that Weasels were working their area, they turned off their radar and "went to take a pee" to get far away from their control trailers just in case the Weasels found their trailer.

We called that "radar suppression" and, after we found out about it, whenever we had a Air Force mission going into an area with SAMs, we sent the Weasels in first to suppress the SAMs and then flew in the other planes to do their missions and the Weasels didn't leave until everyone else left. They were first in and last out.

Our B-52s fought this baby in a different way using a combination of electronic jamming and chaff to hide the plane from the radar so even the operator couldn't tell exactly where the Buff was.

They flew in 3 plane "cells" so that there were 3 EWOs fighting the same SAM at the same time or they could fight more SAMs at the same time.

With the SAM6, the Weasel would just jam the 6 radar so it couldn't get lock with is missile while locking the Weasel's missile onto the 6 radar and blowing it up, which is probably why the Ruskies later started using IR instead of radar for the 6.

From what I read by a retired Weasel, by Desert Storm, those battles became much more complex.

There were a number of different types of electronic jamming signals. The most common was to just over power the radar scope to create a big "bloom" on their scope they could not see where you were or get information for missile lock. The problem with that was that, if you were too far away or too close, you got "burn through" so that your jamming signal showed right where you were and could be used to shoot you down. Not good.

Therefore, the EWO had to know how far from the SAM he was and when he could use the ECM. Part of the problem with that was that you might be the right distance from one SAM site but too close or too far from another SAM site who could shoot your butt down. In such cases, chaff helped a lot.

Another was to create a screen full of false images so the operator couldn't tell which one you were. "Let's see, I have to pick the right one out of 100 targets to fire my missile at."

And we had other ways to fool their radar and, of course, they had counter measures to our counter measures so we had to use other counter measures.

The F-111 had a problem that caused some of them to crash at first, which gave them a bad reputation, when they were a very good bird, and I have seen a number of false explanations. The media didn't know what they were talking about.

What we were taught is the F-111 had terrain following radar and flew just above tree top level we called "picking fruit". That was to fly in below enemy radar because radar couldn't get too low or it got problems from "ground clutter" so they made the F-111 part of that ground clutter to hide it.

When they first started flying that baby in combat, someone had the brilliant idea of using a chaff pod under the bird's wing that fired chaff rockets ahead of the plane to blow up and create a chaff cloud to hide the plane in.

We lost quite a few planes before we learned that caused the terrain following radar to see a vertical mountain just ahead of the plane, which caused the super sonic plane to go vertical and pull enough Gs to cause both crew members to black out. The plane would go vertical until it got past the chaff cloud then turn back down 180 degrees and fly into the ground before the crew could wake up. The plane in a full dive was going too fast so it didn't have time to pull up before it detected and reached the ground.

We didn't learn that until one of the two crew members on a plane woke up soon enough to save the plane and came back to tell us about it. That was the last time we used chaff pods on the F-111 and it stopped crashing so that must have been the problem.

Some times, you can have too much technology or can mix the wrong technologies.

That is a few of the things I remember. I hope you enjoyed it.

During Desert Storm, I read that the Wild Weasels were using either the F-4 (which they probably are not using any more) or the F-16 so the pilot is also the EWO because it is a single seat plane. A good book about the Wild Weasels in Desert Storm is "Viper Pilot" by Dan Hampton. It is a good read and he slowly teaches you our specialized language or slang until the last two chapters where it used a lot so you might want to pay attention to the language, while reading it, or you won't understand the last 2 chapters.

Let me share something important you should all know, especially today.

In studying electronics warfare and espionage, we were taught that, when an electron goes through anything like a wire, resistor, or anything else, it sends off a microwave signal specific to what it went through and the modulated signal that went through it just like the electron flow going through it.

By the early 1970s, you know, half a century ago, we could tell what that electron flow went through such as a wire, the type of metal, length of the wire, the voltage and current, and everything.

We used that to detect hidden enemy bases and tell us a lot about them.

Because of this, we could take the microwaves given off by your computer, run it through a special program we had on a computer, and draw the exact schematic for your entire computer.

Then we could take the signal modulations and run them through that computer schematic and see everything you saw on your screen, every touch of your keys, and every move and click of your mouse.

We could do all of that with the signals captured from your computer by a satellite in space.

Most people don't know how a wireless radio works. It works by sending a signal that your voice and the speaker modulated through a wire called an antenna. When that signal went through that wire, it sent out a microwave signal that, when it crossed another antenna or wire, it causes the exact same current flow through the second antenna so that all you have to do is feed that signal into a circuit to hear that person speak.

In 1977, the FBI tried and convicted a man for his crimes using the conversations he had on his land line phone WITHOUT using a bug or having a warrant. We didn't need bugs or warrants then because, as the signal went from his phone through the wires making up his phone line to the other phone, they sent out a microwave signal that the FBI picked up with a receiver from more than half a mile away from those phone lines.

The guy tried to get that case thrown out because the FBI didn't have a warrant but the US Supreme Court ruled that, when that microwave signal went out into "Public Domain", it became public property and could be used by the FBI without a warrant.

That was a very important case because they can also use the intel they get from microwaves your computer sends out, your cell phone sends out, or any other electronic device sends out to provide evidence in a case against you without a warrant because all of those signals your electronic devices are constantly sending out become public property in the public domain.

I thought you might want to know about that. You would be amazed at what we could do half a century ago and today, they can do better.

For example, we can pick up the signal from your electronic watch with a satellite in space and tell what time your watch said when that signal left it.

Here is something funny. After I was in the military, I would be watching or talking about shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, or Battle Star Galactica with other people and they would see something like that rebel base hidden in a mountain in the first Star Wars movie where they opened a blast door and aircraft could fly in or out of the base and say something like, "Some day we are going to have bases like that." I couldn't say anything back then so I would think, "Some day? We had bases like that since before 1960 and I know where a number of them are." It has been a real trip watching civilians trip out about sci-fi movies with me knowing we have better in Uncle Sam's Black Closet.

People think that our spy planes flying near the border of another nation is just taking pictures.

Oh no, it is doing much, much more than that. It is also picking up all of those microwave signals sent out by electrical and electronic devices to see what is where.

For example, a SAM would scan that plane and that plane would pick up much more intel than the radar scan and the location of that SAM along with what type of SAM it was. It also picked up all of the microwave signals being sent out by that SAM to draw a schematic of its circuits to figure out what it could and couldn't do. It also did things like pick up infrared signals and other stuff. THAT was in the 1970s and we did it with both planes, ships, ground units, and satellites. Heck, Star Trek was kid stuff.

BTW, the Ruskies, Chicom, North Korea, South Korea, Israel, Europe, and others do it too. One trick is to fly something like a bomber near another nation to get their radars, communications, and intercept planes to come up to gather intel on all of them. Know that bomber is STUFFED with espionage toys to gather intel but your idiot media love to scare you with their bombers posing a threat to your nation. Bull crap, it is part of the "game" or strategies and tactics of intel gathering. They don't have bombs on them, they have much worse on them, electronics warfare toys to gather intel. We called that "probing your defenses".

This is hilarious. I love it when I see Russia send one or two bombers or fighter planes close to the border of the US or UK. The moronic, idiot media go into a panic about it being an invasion by Russia.

"The sky is falling; the sky is falling!" Shut up, Chicken Little, the sky isn't falling.

Russia would NOT send one or two planes to attack the US or UK. If Russia attacks the US or UK, they will send hundreds of missiles, at least one or two hundred fighter planes, and 50 to 100 bombers. That is when you know your butt is in trouble. With just one or two planes, all they are doing is probing our defenses. But, hey, the stupid people will believe the sky is falling so the media go bonkers mad about it. Quit believing the media.

Here is a little common sense. With just one or two planes, most likely, they won't even have a bomb on them. Think about it, you are sending planes to gather intel and some emergency happens that causes them to eject that bomb on your enemy starting a war, whether it detonates or not. They don't want that.

In 1975 SAC gave us a class teaching us how the US Government was spying on its people and most people still don't know about it. Guess what, they are still doing it.

BTW, while Obama was in office, Congress found out that the NSA was spying on them too so they passed a bill forbidding the Government from spying on THEM but it can still spy on you. Think about that. Also, while Obama was in, Congress passed a bill Obama signed building a much, much, much bigger NSA building so they could spy on more people and most people completely missed it.

Being trained in espionage is interesting because I see things most people don't see and can more easily tell what is going on for real. Some times that gets to be a wee bit much though.

Here is a little something fun about electronics warfare we used in Nam that most people don't know about today.

Dan Rather thought he was a military genus but he was a military twit. I remember him telling us about the "new smart weapons" he had just found out about just before Desert Storm in 1991 and saying, "if we had these weapons in Nam, we would not have lost the war."

1) We didn't lose the war. In 1975 the Democrats passed a bill that gave South Vietnam to North Vietnam after our military had forced them to sign a truce. Afghan Joe was big part of passing that bill and caused at least as big a mess as he recently did in Afghanistan. Hey, he is consistent.

2) Let tell you about a smart weapon we had in Nam and smarty pants Danny boy didn't know about.

When the electrons go through a spark plug, it gives off a very specific microwave signal. If a car engine is turning over at just 600 rpms, it is giving off 10 signals per cylinder per second and, in a 6 cylinder engine, it is giving off 60 of those signals per second, which is a steady stream of signals.

Early in the war, the north used trucks with gasoline engines to move people, weapons, and munitions down the Ho Chi Mihn Trail to South Vietnam.

Our inferior capitalist engineers developed a smart bomb that would lock onto the spark plug signals coming from those trucks and follow those signals right down under ye ole truck hoods to "rebuild those engines". They got a real bang out of that.

When the superior commies found out about our smart bomb, they quit using gasoline engines and started using diesel engines that don't use spark plugs. (I guess they were not smart enough to "shield their engines"?)

We used other technologies to take out those trucks so the superior commies had to start moving weapons, munitions, and people down south by animals and humans on foot because their superior commie engineers couldn't figure out how to counter our counter measures.

But, hey, infrared technology took care of that.

I also knew a fighter pilot who used his first smart missiles to take out a bridge in North Vietnam in either 1965 or 1966 that Danny boy didn't know about. He is a clueless twit and doesn't know half of what he thinks he knows.

That fighter pilot used those smart missiles about a quarter of a century before the great military expert, Danny boy, even found out about smart weapons.

While I was in the military, we defeated North Vietnam so bad that they were forced to sign the Paris Peace Accords to have anything left of the North in February 1973 and, since I got to Southeast Asia after that date (February 1973 - I got there in August 1973), the Democratic Congress decided that I am not a Vietnam vet (I am a Vietnam era vet) to deny me of my veterans rights. We DID NOT lose that war. The Democrats, including Afghan Joe, gave the South to the North in 1975. Afghan Joe was one of the leaders in passing that bill. Quit believing the lying media.

The Real World

I already told you that I was trained in espionage by SAC while I was in the military during Nam. We are talking about the physics of advanced spying technology to find ye ole conspiracies all enemies have against you.

I also recently told you that SAC gave us a class on how the NSA spies on everyone inside and outside the US, including you.

When you know this kind of crap, it is amazing what you see that other people don't see but it gets better.

I met a guy I was later told was the best friend of a governor in a poor state and had told him about my idea for a big bike race that would have made the poor state a lot of money. Then, without telling me, he liked my idea enough that he arranged for me to tell that governor about my idea.

He and I met in front of that capitol building, went inside and were walking down the very big hallway to their presentation room when that governor and his staff left a room right in front of us, coming out of a meeting and heading for that same room and my friend said, "Hi" to his bud.

We had not been walking together more than 40 or 50 feet when they met some other people coming from the opposite direction, including two well known "investigative journalists" and they all stopped and started discussing a project they were all working on that I knew was illegal with people walking right by. I was stunned at the open corruption.

I decided I didn't want to crawl in bed with them and definitely didn't want them getting their hands on my project so I intentionally blew the living crap out of that presentation, big time. For some reason they were not interested and I got to walk away not feeling like slime. There are more important things in this world than money.

When I was in LA, I was hired as a broker's assistant in training to become a broker for a small East Coast house opening a new branch in LA. They started by giving me the full set of books concerning the laws for the Stock Market and I read everyone of them. I do my homework.

Then, because they were a small house opening up an office in LA and didn't have the money to hire someone to provide me with full time training, they paid one of the top houses in the US to let me set in on the classes they had for their new brokers in LA. No, I don't remember the name of that house and don't care to, besides, they would probably shoot me for what I am about to tell you.

Having read all of the laws, I sat in the class for about three or four months until I got so sick of what I was being taught, I quit and got a job sweeping floors to make myself feel better because I was having trouble looking in the mirror and I had not done anything yet. The fact I was learning that crap made me sick.

What I realized they were doing was training me to be a front man for them to break those laws to lie to and steal from you people to make my bosses more wealthy so that, if I got caught, I went to prison instead of them. The stock market is so corrupt I wouldn't invest a penny in it even if it was your penny.

Remember the stock market crash in Black October?

About 1.5 years before that crash happened, I was taught that crash would happen in either October or November of that year and how the upper class trash would cause it to happen and would control it to steal money from you. When it happened, I just sat and watched it happen the way I was taught it would happen. It was amazing how well they control the stock market.

After about 6 months of training, I knew I would not be able to look at myself in the mirror and be able to say, "That is a good man", without lying so I quit and got a job sweeping floors and taking out the trash for about a year as my penitence to make me feel better about myself.

Darn, they are evil people.

Then, some time later, we had to deal with a non profit corporation and something was very weird. A friend of mine who owned a small non profit and was making a good living as the only manager for it took me out to lunch to share intel about how non profits work, really work.

He told me how, when a nonprofit starts getting big, the upper class trash will send in people to take it over and use it for a number of reasons, which is why he was intentionally keeping his small and under the radar.

They love to use them as "shells" to do things that are illegal so their business doesn't get busted and they don't go to prison. Soros does that all of the time.

The corruption he taught me explained, when a few years ago research showed that NONE of the biggest non profits in the US get even 3% of their revenues "where they are supposed to go".

A few years later I got my M.B.A. with an A GPA and they confirmed everything I had learned.

Also, with my training in sports sciences, sports medicine, and athletic administration and certain experience and friends, I see the same corrupt in sports and it is very obvious.

For example, when you see someone with super big muscles, they are using steroids because muscles do not normally develop like that, I don't care how you work them out. For the most part, you can tell what they do to their body by the way their body looks or works.

With all of that, when I see this, that, or something else, I don't see what most people are taught or told to see, I see what is really going on and it sucks. It is like having X-Ray or special vision and being able to see Satan and his demons hard at work.

These people running our government and major businesses are evil, evil, evil. Hey, at least we know they will all be burning in Hell soon.

Sometimes it would be nice to not see what I see and know. I want my own planet but I know there are still some good people here.

Greedy people suck!

About 20+ years ago, I was researching trying to find an honest business I could start up with a few thousand dollars seed capital and never found anything that would cost less than $10,000 startup money. Today, it is probably worse.

I did find about half a dozen opportunities to make 6 digits a year lying to and stealing from you but I just can't do that. My integrity is not for sale and I would rather be poor and be able to see a good man in the mirror than burn in Hell leaving behind a big bank account for others to enjoy. I have not starved to death yet and can still look in the mirror without lying to myself.

I may have it a little tough now with my illness and poverty but on Judgment Day, they are going to have it much worse when the angels read out of their books every evil thing they said, did, and thought with EVERYONE in history knowing every slimy thing about them. I expect people like Hillary and Pelosi to say to me, "Is that all you did? Are you boring or what?" just before they are dumped into eternal damnation and I am going to just smile.

I have not lead a perfect life but there isn't too much for me to be ashamed of and I have Jesus as my savior. Compared to these evil people, I am not even going to look like an amateur. I want to hear God say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." That will mean more than all of the gold in the universe.

Penetration Devices

This guy does pretty good work in educating you as to some military stuff with this video. He has several different channels that teach about different things. Note that he said the penetrator bombs were first used in WWII.

We were trained in these things when I was in the Air Force a few billion years ago, you know, in the 70s. We referred to them as a bomb or missile with a "hardened warhead and a delayed detonation device". We used them in Nam to destroy the VC tunnels, especially if they had a complex of tunnels built in a mountain.

They tell you in this video that they tested the biggest of those bombs here at White Sands Missile Range only about 30 to 40 miles west from where I live, note that I said "only".

Even though they were detonated underground, they created a shock wave that was incredible. You heard the explosion and then you could hear the shock wave coming rolling across the desert floor toward you and it was so massive and loud it made me think of a stampede of thousands of super giant bison that were at least 30 to 40 feet high and, when it hit my trailer, it shook the living crap out of it, passed by and you could here it continuing east away from you, then you heard it bounce off of the vertical mountains about 6 miles east of me and it came rolling back, shaking the living crap out of me again and then you could hear it going back across the desert floor and hit the vertical mountains on the west side of the Tularosa Basin about 40 to 50 miles away. It was an interesting experience. The nick name for that bomb was the MOAB or Mother of All Bombs.

I told you that I was trained in nuclear warfare and few people know that both the US and Ruskies had most of their strategic nukes with hardened warheads with delayed detonation devices because they both knew that their most important targets were "hardened", especially the ones underground, which required significant penetration and a delayed detonation. Some of them were designed to detonate hundreds of feet underground to take out massively hardened structures like Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado. Relatively few of the nukes would have been detonated on or above the surface like they show you on TeeBee or out of Hollyweird. That is all bull crap.

Of the nukes that made it to target, you wouldn't see most nuke detonations so there would be no flash, radiation, or fallout but they would shake the living crap out of you. Some people would think it was just an earthquake and have to learn from the news that we had a nuke war. Part of that is because most of the nukes on both sides had medium to low throw weight nukes or tactical warfare nukes that wouldn't make as much of a bang as the larger throw weight strategic nukes. Nukes are not all the same size like they make it look on TeeBee or Hollyweird.

I think that about 2/3 of Russia's current nukes are the smaller tactical nukes and about half or more of the US nukes are tactical.

I laughed all of the way through that nuclear war movie, "The Day After" because it was nothing like what a real nuke war would be like. It was so ignorant and stupid.

Hey, you learnt sumpin' new.

BTW, the definition for a strategic nuke is any nuke with a throw weight of more than 100K or 100 kilotons (the equivalent of 100,000 tons of TNT or dynamite) and a tactical nuke is a nuke that is 100K or less. In the 60s and 70s, the US had 25 meg or megaton (the equivalent of one million tons of dynamite) as their largest nukes in inventory but the last I checked, they had dropped that down to only 15 meg nukes because our guidance systems are better.

In the 60s the Ruskies experimented with a 50 to 60 meg nuke because their guidance systems were really terrible and they were trying to make a nuke big enough so it would be close enough to destroy the target but anything more than a 25 meg nuke was a waste of nuke dirt. It was better to use two 25 meg nukes than one 50 meg nuke. Today, the Ruskie guidance systems are much better and they don't have to use as large of nukes to make up the difference.

We have "mini nukes" that are in the range of about 10K and can be carried as missiles or bombs on things like fighter planes and they experimented with micro nukes for things like mortars that had a kill circle of about a quarter of a mile in diameter (about two US city blocks) and also developed the neutron bomb which didn't leave the radiation behind that an atomic or hydrogen bomb left behind so troops could go into the area after the bomb had detonated to seize control of the area.

Nuclear warfare is much more complex than anything you have seen on TeeBee or out of Hollyweird. Hey, you just learned something else, didn't you?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You better....

Pray long, pray hard, pray often!!!
