I Told You So 192

Remember that I have told you that for a lot of people, them being successful and getting rich was more about them being in the right place at the right time doing the right thing or opportunity than intelligence? Remember that I have also told you that it is really more a matter of God blessing you than intelligence?

I got this from Scientific Ameriacan By Scott Barry Kaufman:

"What does it take to succeed? What are the secrets of the most successful people? Judging by the popularity of magazines such as Success, Forbes, Inc., and Entrepreneur, there is no shortage of interest in these questions. There is a deep underlying assumption, however, that we can learn from them because it's their personal characteristics--such as talent, skill, mental toughness, hard work, tenacity, optimism, growth mindset, and emotional intelligence-- that got them where they are today. This assumption doesn't only underlie success magazines, but also how we distribute resources in society, from work opportunities to fame to government grants to public policy decisions. We tend to give out resources to those who have a past history of success, and tend to ignore those who have been unsuccessful, assuming that the most successful are also the most competent.

But is this assumption correct? I have spent my entire career studying the psychological characteristics that predict achievement and creativity. While I have found that a certain number of traits-- including passion, perseverance, imagination, intellectual curiosity, and openness to experience-- do significantly explain differences in success, I am often intrigued by just how much of the variance is often left unexplained.

In recent years, a number of studies and books--including those by risk analyst Nassim Taleb, investment strategist Michael Mauboussin, and economist Richard Frank-- have suggested that luck and opportunity may play a far greater role than we ever realized, across a number of fields, including financial trading, business, sports, art, music, literature, and science. Their argument is not that luck is everything; of course talent matters. Instead, the data suggests that we miss out on a really importance piece of the success picture if we only focus on personal characteristics in attempting to understand the determinants of success."

Gee, who would have figured?

Listen, if you have read all 1,300+ essays I have written on this site, you would know that I am a very intelligent and extremely well educated man living in poverty because of one little protist called a virus. I easily know more about more things than all but a handful of people, I worked as hard as anyone, I danced with tornadoes, and did extremely well until that virus got my butt.

They still call it luck because they still have not figured it out but I call it the hand of God. Get it straight, God opens and closes all of the doors in our lives and I don't care how hard you try, how intelligent you are, how much you know, or anything else, if God closes your doors, it ain't comin' open, baby, until God opens it. Kick and scream all you want and that door ain't budgin', baby. I learned that one the hard way.

You couldn't begin to imagine the war I fought against the hand of God for decades to kick even just one door open even just a tiny crack until He just finally made me so sick all of the doctors gave up on me and started telling me that I should have died years before and I simply couldn't kick and scream any more. For more than 1.5 years before I finally surrendered to the will of God, God parked my butt in a chair so sick that all I could do was sleep 16 to 20 hours a day and, except for fixing one or two small meals a day, sit in that chair staring at four walls. For a workaholic like me, that was an indescribable living hell.

Baby, Nebuchadnezzar ain't got nothing on my butt. I fought the hand of God for decades and took one heck of a beating for it. Yeah, so, I'm bullheaded but just a wee bit...OK, maybe a little more than a wee bit.

When I couldn't do any more and found out that it is an untreatable and incurable virus killing me, my knowledge of science finally forced me to admit God had beaten even me. Before that, I had been so hard working and successful that I had convinced myself that I was invincible and there was nothing I couldn't succeed at. Why, NO ONE could stop me!

And God said, "Really? Let's see." Oops!

Believe me that most rich people are not rich because they are more intelligent than you but because they were in the right place at the right time doing the right thing and God blessed them or they stole it from you (Satan blessed them), usually by abusing the power of a corrupt government. Believe me that almost all politicians are rich idiots and criminals. They are not more intelligent than you.

Don't believe me?

Just pay attention to the stupid things they say and do and how little they know about most things. The number one reason most politicians went into politics is because they are too stupid to earn half as much legally so they abuse the power of government to steal from you. I am absolutely amazed at how ignorant and stupid most politicians are and the thing they hate the most about Trump is that Trump is proving that to be true.

Just stop and think about it, people, if you are intelligent enough to earn money legally, you won't create the risk of going to jail and losing everything by stealing. Therefore, all of those corrupt rich people at the top can't be that smart. They don't have superior intelligence, they have inferior morals, values, and ethics and are too stupid to tell the difference.

Then you have the idiots who are born into wealth, which doesn't require any smarts. All that requires is for a heavily inbred sperm to get together with a heavily inbred egg AND the sperm and egg were almost certainly damaged by the parents' drug abuse. Oh yeah, that requires a lot of smarts.

Proof of that is that the parents have to bribe "the right universities" with "donations" to get their spoiled rich brats into the school, then have to hire tutors who do all of the work for the brat by writing their papers and taking their tests for them, and then the parents often have to give more bribes to the university...uh...I mean donations, yeah, that's the ticket, donations to get their brats top grades for soft science degrees that you can get at a good state university by reading the same books, listening to the same lectures, and passing the same tests without bribes and tutors and you think they are smarter than you? Really? Why? Because they said so?

Get it straight that the vast majority of the upper class trash brats don't get degrees in the hard sciences. They only get degrees in the soft sciences, which only requires an average intelligence AND they have to have tutors to get those degrees. Most of them couldn't pass the prerequisite courses for the hard science courses I took in college and I thought were easy.

Just remember that ALL having more money means is that you have more money and absolutely nothing else. God has taught me that lesson well. There are plenty of people who have much more money than me but don't even come close to my intelligence and knowledge. God and/or Satan have more to do with them being rich than anything else, but they arrogantly and ignorantly call it luck. I don't believe in luck, I believe in God.

God is using Trump, the failing of the EU and their beloved one world commie dictatorship, their other failing great sounding stupid ideas, and this site to open your eyes to just how stupid most rich people, especially the corrupt ones, really are. Some of them barely have an IQ, they're rich, and I am living in poverty and that ain't no coincidence or accident, baby. That is the hand of God hard at work in our lives to open our eyes and teach us the truth.

I will be 69 years old next month, I was talking to my daughter last night, and my daughter and I were amazed at how much God has taught me about so many different things. It blows my mind and, when I look back over my life, I can see God moving throughout my life to teach me all of those different things to prepare me for this and future jobs.

People, it wasn't because of any super brilliance on my own that I learned so much about so many things but God shoving my butt into situation after situation where I could and even had to learn all of those things. And what really amazes me even more is how much more there is to learn and God knows all of it. I still research and learn new stuff every day.

As much as I know, which is much, much more than most people will ever know, compared to God, I am stupid and ignorant. As incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable as I am, compared to God, I am just an earthworm. The Man just amazes me and humbles me with how incredibly brilliant and knowledgeable He is.

And there are stupid humans who don't know a fraction of what I know and they think they are gods? Really?

It must be nice being so stupid you can't figure out things that seem so obvious. Don't expect me to ever worship any of them. I would find it easier to worship something much more intelligent, you know, like a rock.

Get it straight, I can't think of one human living today or ever in history I would even think about worshipping. Compared to the one true God, Yahweh, Jesus, Elohim, Adonai, The Great I Am, we are all idiots. God proved that to the great King Nebuchadnezzar a long time ago and, for some of us, that is one tough lesson to learn, especially if you get arrogant and bullheaded. You don't want to go down that road.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You better....

Pray long, pray hard, pray often!!!
