I just found a couple of news items I need to share with you just to keep you informed. The first item came from the news site, Debkafile.

DEBKAfile reports: Hizballah has completed preparations for a large-scale cross-border attack on Israel from Lebanon
March 19, 2006, 12:35 PM (GMT+02:00)

During a tour of Israel's northern border positions Sunday, March 19, Israeli defense minister Shaul Mofaz pointed out the Hizballah build-up of troop strength in forward bases armed with missiles and artillery.

Hizballah's main object appears to be a renewed attempt to repeat last year's failed operation to abduct Israeli soldiers or civilians. A special command post has been set up to orchestrate the operation. DEBKAfile's military sources reveal that for the first time Hizballah's preparations for an offensive are open and visible. The scale and organization indicate the Shiite terrorists are aiming for a very large-scale kidnap operation inside Israel.

Israel's northern positions have been on high alert for a Hizballah attack since March 12.

This sounds pretty much like it is stated until you add together information from a variety of sources. First, I have already told you that Hamas's leader, Khaled Mash'al, has been lining up ducks all over including with Hizballah, Syria, and other countries. Second, you need to read the article I just read on Arutz Sheva.

Hamas Leader:Our Spirit and Determination Will Vanquish Zionism

The leader of the Hamas, Khaled Mash'al, said in a speech in Damascus that Arab determination and spirit will ultimately vanquish Zionism and bring about the liberation of all of Palestine.

Mash'al, whom Israel attempted to assassinate in 1997, said the dream of returning millions of Arab refugees to Israel is coming closer to reality as the final battle with Zionism approaches.

Based on my observations, Mofaz is misreading Hizballah and this is the coming three pronged attack into Israel by Hizballah and Hamas I warned you about some time back. You have to understand that, a while back, Hizballah staged an attack against Israel from Lebanon under the auspices of trying to kidnap Israeli soldiers. I think it was really a military probe of Israeli defenses in preparation for this coming attack and the idea of kidnapping Israeli soldiers was the cover.

Don't you find it just a bit of a coincidence that Hizballah is finishing up its preparations for an attack at the same time Hamas is finishing up its new government in Gaza and the West Bank while declaring their will soon wage a final war against Israel? Why else would Hizballah, who normally likes to stage surprise attacks, be willing to make their assault so obvious?

The answer has to be that the reason they are making the attack so obvious is because they have to have so many troops for their operation that they can't make it covert and, therefore, it will probably be a more sustained effort than another kidnapping attempt. This can only be an outright invasion of Israel.

I think what we will see will be a rocket and artillery barrage against certain Israeli positions along the Lebanon, West Bank, and Gaza borders followed by an attempted and coordinated "Blitzkrieg" by Hizballah and Hamas. They will probably strike at limited positions in an attempt to over whelm and breach those positions so they can flood attackers into Israel and quickly get beyond and behind the IDF forces.

I think this will be the spearhead operations for a larger attack by Syria and others. If it works and they manage to put Israel in a serious enough of a position, then Syria and others will join the battle to finish off Israel. If it fails, then Syria and the others don't engage and should not have to fear retaliation by Israel. It is a win/win proposition for Syria and the others.

Also, if this attack fails, they know Israel will go into and occupy Lebanon, the West Bank, and Gaza to clean out the rats and prevent it from happening again. This will give the Muslims the excuse they need to set up a UN approved assault against Israel better known as the Battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39. I believe that Hamas and Hizballah will probably wait until after the Israeli elections in hopes that Olmert will get elected as prime minister. If they attack before the election, a much more conservative hawk will get elected and their fight will be more up hill.

This is getting very close and things are getting very interesting very quickly. Keep an eye on this.
