Remember that the CDC and WHO are saying that Ebola is not being transmitted via air or pneumonically? Remember that I said this current plague is spreading too fast and is too out of control to not be being spread pneumonically?
I just read that Alexandra Olson of the Associated Press stated, "The international group Doctor Without Borders warned Tuesday that the world is losing the battle against Ebola and lamented that treatment centers in West Africa have been "reduced to places where people go to die alone" as authorities race to contain the disease.
Doctors Without Borders President Joanne Liu said her organization is completely overwhelmed by Ebola outbreak in four West African countries. She said treatment centers can offer little more than palliative care and called on other countries to contribute civilian and military medical personnel familiar with biological disasters."
Alexandra also stated, "A separate Ebola outbreak has hit a remote part of Congo, in Central Africa, the traditional home of the disease. So far, 53 cases consistent with Ebola have been identified there, of whom 31 have died, WHO said Tuesday."
This situation is getting worse by the day and this dire situation requires that the disease is spreading pneumonically or they wouldn't be having the trouble controlling it they are having. With Ebola spreading so fast, we can only guess to where it has already spread. It could be several more months before we have an idea of where else it is already spreading. But it gets worse.
Alexandra also said, "Earlier Tuesday, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization warned that food in countries hit by Ebola is becoming more expensive and will become scarcer as farmers can't reach their fields.
Authorities have cordoned off entire towns in an effort to halt the virus' spread. Surrounding countries have closed land borders, airlines have suspended flights to and from the affected countries and seaports are losing traffic, restricting food imports to the hardest-hit countries. Those countries - Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone - all rely on grain from abroad to feed their people, according to the U.N. FAO.
For instance, the price of cassava root, a staple in many West African diets, has gone up 150 percent in one market in Liberia's capital, Monrovia.
'Even prior to the Ebola outbreak, households in some of the affected areas were spending up to 80 percent of their incomes on food,' said Vincent Martin, who is coordinating the food agency's response to the crisis. 'Now these latest price spikes are effectively putting food completely out of their reach.'
The situation will likely worsen because restrictions on movement are preventing laborers from getting to farms and the harvest of rice and corn is set to begin in just a few weeks, the FAO said.
Ivory Coast decided Monday night to keep its borders with Guinea and Liberia closed but said it would open a humanitarian corridor to allow supplies in.
An estimated 1.3 million people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will soon need help feeding themselves, said the U.N."
They are talking about a full blown famine that will eventually effect the prices of food everywhere else in the world. Note that famine will also spread to other countries in which Ebola begins spreading for the same reasons.
Remember that this is only one of a number of deadly diseases coming across our open southern border courtesy of your wonderful liberal leaders in both parties and that the Border Patrol is only catching about 5% of the people crossing our southern border. The rest? We have no idea where they are and what diseases they have.
If we find out that these diseases were intentionally spread to kill us off, everyone involved should be arrested, tried, found guilty (regardless of wealth, fame, etc.), and executed for this horrible crime. Such evil monsters deserve no mercy and the world will be better off without them.
With all of this death coming at us from every side in increasing ways and much of it, such as the impending pandemics, being non selective in that they will take anyone and everyone, it is critical that, if you don't have Jesus as your savior, it would be an excellent idea to repent of your sins or crimes against God's Laws and accept the salvation or amnesty Jesus bought for us on the cross. A lot of people are being murdered and many more will be murdered before this is all over. It is an intelligent idea to make plans for your eternal future right now.
