Is Allah the God of the Bible?

Who Is Allah?

The first thing we have to answer is, "Who is Allah?" I will start with the comments from the front of the Koran itself because these show the accepted beliefs and knowledge of Muslims. We will build from there.

"Long before Muhammad's call, Arabian paganism was showing signs of decay. At the Ka'bah the Meccans worshiped not only Allah, the Supreme Semitic God, but also a number of female deities whom they regarded as the daughters of Allah."

In this statement, it is made clear that the Muslims recognize that Allah was one of a number of pagan gods worshiped in Mecca by the Meccan religion of Sabianism. In fact, he was one of more than 360 pagan gods worshiped by the Meccans. Allah's original Arabic name was Ali Allah but the Ali was dropped before Muhammad was born. Allah was the Meccan Moon and War god which is still recognize in Islam by the symbol of Allah, the crescent moon being place on all Muslim mosques and almost all the national flags of Islamic countries.

The proof that Allah was also the Meccan war god is in a battle cry you commonly hear from Muslims today. If you pay attention on the news, you will regularly hear Muslims proudly say that Allah is the god of the sword. This is because they know that Allah was the war god of the Meccans and is still a war god today, therefore, he is the god of the sword. Allah is not a god of piece or love and you will not find the word love written even one time in the Koran. The primary mandate of the Koran is to conquer the world and kill off all non-Muslims. As a matter of fact, Muhammad commands Muslims that, after they have conquered any people, they are required to put the sword to their neck and say, "Convert of die" with the understanding that if you don't convert on the spot, they are required to cut your head off.

The Meccans worshiped Allah as the moon or their moon and war god, believed that Allah was married to the sun (a female deity), and Allah had three daughters who were all stars. Long before Muhammad was born, Allah was the principle god of Muhammad's family or tribe, the Quraysh. This means that Muhammad was raised in the pagan Meccan cult of Sabianism worshiping the moon as Allah the war god. Muhammad and his family were primarily moon worshipers with the family symbol being the crescent moon of Allah, the war god.

Who Is The God Of The Bible?

To answer this, we turn to Biblical scripture. The best scriptures telling us about the person or being of the God of the Bible are in the Torah or first five books of the Bible. Below, I will list some of what I feel are the best verses showing the being or existence of the God of the Bible.

Exodus 19:9 And the Lord said to Moses, "I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and will believe you forever."

Exodus 19:11 And be ready on the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:16-20 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud, so that all the people that were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the lower part of the mount. And Mount Sinai was completely covered in smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire, and the smoke ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him by a voice. And the Lord came down on Mount Sinai, on the top of the mount, and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

What this series of verses shows is that the God of the Bible was a real, living entity which the people of Israel saw and heard. It is important to note that, at no time in the Koran, did anyone see or hear Allah. As a matter of fact, not even Muhammad was reported to have seen or heard Allah because the Koran was alleged to have been dictated to Muhammad by the angel, Gabriel. The only time Allah has been seen by anyone was when he was worshiped by the Meccans as the moon meaning that no one has ever heard Allah.

Exodus 24:9-10 Then went up Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. And they saw the God of Israel and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in its clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand also they saw God and did eat and drink.

This is a very incredible verse. 74 of the leaders of Israel saw and ate with this being, God, and it infers that the being, God, put his hand on Moses in front of the others. Never did any of the Muslims eat and drink with Allah.

Exodus 33:8-11 And it came to pass, when Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose up and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle and all the people rose up and worshiped, every man in his tent door. And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.

This shows the God of the Bible as a living being which spoke to Moses before all the people face to face as we speak to each other. There was never such an instance in the Koran where anyone ever saw Allah speak to Muhammad or anyone else. This is confirmed in verse 78:37 of the Koran "the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; the Merciful, with whom no one can speak."

The God of the Bible is very different in that the Bible shows that not only did all of the prophets of the Bible speak directly with God but that anyone can speak to God through prayer. The only time anyone did see Allah was when the Meccans saw Allah (the moon) at night in the sky when they worshiped him.

Leviticus 9:23-24 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation and came out, and blessed the people and the glory of the Lord appeared to all of the people. (All two to three million of them.) And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed the burnt offering and fat on the alter, which, when the people saw, they shouted and fell on their faces.

Numbers 12:1-10 And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married for he had married a woman of Cush. (Note: if you study the scriptures, you will see that Miriam was trying to get Aaron to seize control from his brother, Moses, so she could control Israel through manipulation of Aaron.) And they said, "Has the Lord only spoken by Moses? Has he not also spoken by us?" And the Lord heard it. Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men who were upon the face of the earth. And the Lord spoke suddenly to Moses, and to Aaron, and to Miriam, "Come out you three to the tabernacle of the congregation." And they three came out, and the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, called Aaron and Miram and they both came forward. And he said, "Hear my words; If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known to him in a vision and will speak to him in a dream. My servant, Moses, is not so, who is faithful in all my house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even plainly and not in dark speeches and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold. Wherefore, then, were you not afraid to speak against my servant, Moses?" And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them and he departed. And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle. (This continues to show how Miriam was punished for her crime.)

Deuteronomy 5:22-33 (Here, Moses is speaking to all of the people.) These words the Lord spoke to all of your assembly (Again, to all two to three million people.) in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice, and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone and delivered them to me. And it came to pass, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, for the mountain did burn with fire, that you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders. And you said, "Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and his greatness and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire; we have seen this day that God does talk with man and he (God) lives. (WOW!!!) Now, therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us, if we hear the voice of the Lord our God anymore, then we shall die. For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire as we have and lived? You go near and hear all that the Lord our God shall say and tell us about all that the Lord our God shall tell you and we will hear it and do it." And the Lord heard your words when you spoke to me and the Lord said to me, "I have heard the words of this people, which they have spoken to you; they have well said all that they have spoken. Oh, that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always that it might be well with them and their children forever! Go, say to them, Get to your tents again. But as for you, stand here by me and I will speak to you all the commandments and the statutes, and the ordinances which you shalt teach them that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess. You shall observe to do, therefore, as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you that you may live and that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

The Comparison

It should be obvious that Allah is the moon and the God of the Bible is a real, living being who was seen by millions of Jews and Egyptians. Therefore, it is not possible for Allah to be the God of the Bible or the God of any of God's people mentioned in the Bible. As a matter of fact, in Deuteronomy 17:2-5, God gives this commandment to the people of Israel. "If there be found among you, within any of your gates which the Lord your God gives you, man or woman who has wrought wickedness in the sight of the Lord your God, in transgressing his covenant, And has gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded, and it be told you, and you have heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel; then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, who has committed that wicked thing, to your gates, even that man or that woman, and shall stone them with stones, till they die."

For anyone in the Bible to have worshiped Allah, the moon god, it would have been an abomination to the God of the Bible and they would have been put to death. It should be clear that Allah cannot be the God of the Bible. Just because Muhammad claimed it to be true doesn't make it so.
